Setting Intentions for Your Healing Journey (and Why They Matter at Our Events)
An intention is more than a wish or a goal—it is a guiding force. It’s a declaration of how you want to show up, what you are open to receiving, and the energy you are committed to carrying forward. Unlike rigid goals, intentions are fluid, heart-centered, and deeply aligned with your soul’s truth.
Every powerful journey begins with a choice. For us in the SOL Sisterhood, that choice often starts with setting an intention.

🌸 Why Intentions Matter
When you set an intention, you’re telling your body, your mind, and the universe: “This is what I am ready for.” Intentions:
Help you focus your energy.
Remind you of what matters most, even when distractions arise.
Create alignment between your inner world and outer experience.
Make space for miracles, insights, and breakthroughs to emerge.
In short, an intention sets the tone for your healing—it’s the compass that helps you navigate the journey.
🌿 Intentions in the Sisterhood
At SOL Sisterhood events like The Awakening, we invite every woman to set her intention at the start of the day. This is not about “doing it right” or putting pressure on yourself—it’s about opening your heart and choosing how you want to engage with the space.
Your intention may sound like:
✨ I intend to release what no longer serves me.
✨ I intend to open my heart to connection.
✨ I intend to discover my own strength.
✨ I intend to rest in my body and trust my soul.
When each sister comes into circle with her own intention, the energy multiplies. We create a collective field where healing deepens, connection strengthens, and transformation becomes possible—not just for one of us, but for all of us.
🌹 How Intentions Lead to Success at Events
Women often tell us that setting an intention before the event changed their entire experience. Why? Because it created clarity. It gave them a touchstone to return to when the day felt overwhelming, emotional, or expansive.
Your intention acts as an anchor, reminding you that you are here on purpose, for a purpose. And that’s where the magic begins.
✨ The Invitation
As you prepare to join us for The Awakening on September 27th, 2025, take a few quiet moments to set your intention. Write it down. Speak it out loud. Hold it close to your heart.
Because healing isn’t random—it’s intentional. And your intention is the key that opens the door to possibility.
What Is Somatic Healing and Why It Matters for Women
Somatic healing is an approach that works with the body as the primary pathway to release, integration, and transformation. The word “somatic” comes from the Greek soma, meaning “body.”
For so long, healing has been understood as something that happens in the mind—through insight, analysis, or “figuring it out.” But the truth is: you can’t think your way to healing.
That’s because trauma, stress, and emotional pain don’t just live in our thoughts. They live in our bodies.
🌿 What Is Somatic Healing?
Somatic healing is an approach that works with the body as the primary pathway to release, integration, and transformation. The word “somatic” comes from the Greek soma, meaning “body.”
It recognizes that our nervous systems carry the imprint of every experience we’ve had—especially the ones where we didn’t feel safe, seen, or supported. These unprocessed experiences can show up as:
Chronic tension or pain
Anxiety and hypervigilance
Feeling disconnected or numb
Difficulty trusting or opening up
Emotional “stuckness”
Somatic healing uses breathwork, movement, sound, and body awareness to access those stored experiences and release them in ways the mind alone cannot.
✨ Why It Matters for Women
Women often carry generations of silenced voices, suppressed emotions, and roles that demanded self-abandonment. We’ve been told to “hold it together,” to “be nice,” to “move on”—all while our bodies hold the truth of what we endured.
Somatic healing matters because:
It restores safety. The body learns it no longer has to live in survival mode.
It reconnects us. To our intuition, our pleasure, our creativity, and our wholeness.
It gives us freedom. To feel fully, to express fully, to live fully—without fear of being “too much” or “not enough.”
🌹 Somatic Healing in the Sisterhood
At SOL Sisterhood events, we weave somatic practices into every sacred space—through movement, rhythm, ritual, and presence. These practices allow women to move beyond words and into embodied release.
Because healing isn’t just about telling your story—it’s about releasing it from your body.
💛 The Invitation
When women return to their bodies, something profound happens: they remember their strength, their wisdom, and their belonging.
At The Awakening on September 27th, 2025, you’ll be guided through somatic practices that help you release what no longer serves you and anchor into the truth of who you are.
Your body already holds the key. It’s time to listen.
Personal Responsibility Isn’t Blame—It’s Liberation
When many of us hear the phrase “take responsibility”, something inside tenses up. It can sound heavy, like blame or shame. It can bring up memories of being told that everything was our fault. But responsibility in the context of healing isn’t about guilt—it’s about freedom.
When many of us hear the phrase “take responsibility”, something inside tenses up. It can sound heavy, like blame or shame. It can bring up memories of being told that everything was our fault. But responsibility in the context of healing isn’t about guilt—it’s about freedom.
🌿 The Difference Between Blame and Responsibility
Blame points a finger outward or inward. It says, “This happened because of you” or “I’m broken because of me.” It keeps us stuck in judgment.
Responsibility is different. It says, “This happened, but I get to choose how I move forward.” It shifts the focus from the past to the present moment and the possibility of change.
When we take responsibility for our healing, we stop waiting for someone else to fix us. We stop waiting for the apology that may never come. Instead, we step into our power and say: “I can’t control what happened, but I can control how I live now.”
🌸 Why Responsibility Is Liberating
It puts the power back in your hands.
You no longer have to stay trapped by the actions of others. It allows you to release old cycles.
By seeing your patterns clearly, you can choose differently. It honors your wholeness.
Responsibility recognizes you are not broken—you are capable of creating new possibilities. It opens the door to compassion.
For yourself and for others. Responsibility doesn’t mean excusing harm, but it does free you from carrying it forever.
🌹 How We Practice Responsibility in Sisterhood
In the SOL Sisterhood, we create sacred spaces where women are guided to speak their truth, acknowledge their patterns, and reclaim their voice. This is not about shaming the past—it’s about shining light on the shadow so you can move forward with clarity, integrity, and freedom.
Here, responsibility is an act of self-love. It is the moment you stop letting the past define you and start letting your soul lead you.
✨ The Awakening
At The Awakening on September 27, 2025, we will explore what it means to step into personal responsibility—not as blame, but as liberation. Through ritual, movement, and sisterhood, you’ll release what no longer serves you and claim the power that has always been yours.
Because true freedom begins the moment you take responsibility for your healing.
Are you ready to step into liberation?

The Sacred Feminine vs. the Wounded Feminine
Within every woman exists a deep well of feminine energy. It is the essence of creation, intuition, compassion, and flow. But this energy can express itself in two very different ways: as the Sacred Feminine or the Wounded Feminine.
Within every woman exists a deep well of feminine energy. It is the essence of creation, intuition, compassion, and flow. But this energy can express itself in two very different ways: as the Sacred Feminine or the Wounded Feminine.
Understanding the difference allows us to notice where we are operating from, reclaim what’s been hidden or silenced, and rise into our fullest expression.
🌸 The Sacred Feminine
The Sacred Feminine is rooted in wholeness. She is the embodiment of love, wisdom, and embodied power. When we stand in our Sacred Feminine, we:
Honor our emotions as teachers instead of enemies.
Trust our intuition and inner knowing.
Nurture ourselves and others from a place of overflow, not depletion.
Value presence, connection, and collaboration.
Hold boundaries with grace and firmness.
The Sacred Feminine isn’t about perfection—it’s about authenticity. She moves with compassion and clarity, knowing her worth is inherent and unshakable.
🌑 The Wounded Feminine
The Wounded Feminine, on the other hand, is what emerges when our feminine essence has been suppressed, silenced, or shamed. She shows up when we’ve been hurt, disconnected, or taught to distrust ourselves. To be clear, this is a choice. At any point we can choose to heal the wounded feminine and reconnect with the divine. In this wounded space, we might:
Hide our voices for fear of rejection.
Use manipulation or victimhood to get our needs met.
Overgive to the point of exhaustion.
Feel disconnected from our bodies, our pleasure, or our intuition.
Believe we are “too much” or “not enough.”
The Wounded Feminine isn’t something to be ashamed of—she’s a signal. She points us toward the parts of ourselves that are longing for love, healing, and integration.
🌹 Why This Matters
Both energies exist within us. To embody the Sacred Feminine, we must first acknowledge the Wounded Feminine. By bringing her into the light with compassion, we transform pain into power, and wounds into wisdom.
This journey isn’t one we’re meant to walk alone. Sisterhood provides the reflection, safety, and support we need to do this work. In circle, we are reminded that we are not broken—we are becoming.
✨ The Awakening
At our upcoming event, The Awakening on September 27th, 2025, we will move through sacred spaces designed to help women release the wounded patterns and step into the Sacred Feminine within. Through ritual, movement, and community, we will remember who we truly are.
Because when one woman rises, she gives permission for us all to rise.
Ready to experience this in person?
Join us for The Awakening. Your seat is waiting.
Why Sisterhood Matters: The Power of Women Supporting Women
Women are stronger together. Whether it’s around a kitchen table, a fire, or in a sacred circle, women have gathered for centuries to share wisdom, heal, and support each other. Today, more than ever, women are seeking spaces to reconnect—to themselves and to one another. That’s where the SOL Sisterhood comes in.

Why Sisterhood Matters for Healing and Growth
When women come together, something extraordinary happens:
You feel seen and understood. Many of us have spent years feeling invisible or carrying burdens alone. Sisterhood reminds you that you are not alone.
You gain strength and confidence. Women supporting women creates a ripple effect of courage and inspiration.
You heal faster in community. Research shows that connection calms the nervous system and supports emotional healing.
Our flagship event, The Awakening, happening on Saturday, September 27, 2025, is designed to help women step into their power through ritual, play, and deep inner work.

🌸 Welcome to The Sisterhood Journal 🌸
Intentions are more than words. They are declarations of the heart—gentle guides that align your energy with what you most desire to receive and embody. Unlike goals, which can feel rigid or pressured, intentions are fluid, soul-centered, and expansive. They remind us of who we are becoming, not just what we are doing.
Sisters, welcome.
This is the beginning of something sacred—our shared space of reflection, wisdom, and soul nourishment. The Sisterhood Journal is here to hold you, to guide you, and to remind you that you are never alone on this journey of healing, awakening, and becoming. Every entry is written with the intention of supporting you in your growth and offering you tools to deepen your experience in our circles and beyond.
And today, we begin with one of the most powerful practices we can carry into our lives and our gatherings: setting intentions.
Why Intentions Matter
Intentions are more than words. They are declarations of the heart—gentle guides that align your energy with what you most desire to receive and embody. Unlike goals, which can feel rigid or pressured, intentions are fluid, soul-centered, and expansive. They remind us of who we are becoming, not just what we are doing.
When you arrive at one of our SOL Sisterhood events, you step into a container of healing, connection, and transformation. By taking time beforehand to set an intention, you give your body, mind, and spirit a clear pathway forward. You’re saying:
✨ This is how I want to show up.
✨ This is what I am open to receiving.
✨ This is the energy I am calling in.
Setting Your Intention for an Event
Before you join us in circle, pause and ask yourself:
What do I want to release in this space?
What do I hope to receive?
How do I want to feel when I leave this gathering?
Your intention could be as simple as:
“I intend to open my heart to connection.”
“I intend to release fear and welcome trust.”
“I intend to feel grounded and at peace.”
There is no right or wrong answer—only what feels true for you.
Intentions Create Success
When each sister comes into the circle rooted in her own intention, the collective energy expands. We weave together our personal desires into something greater—a tapestry of healing and empowerment that uplifts us all.
This is the beauty of SOL Sisterhood: your intention is never just for you. As you set it, you send ripples of healing into the space, into your lineage, and into the lives of every woman gathered beside you.
✨ As you prepare for your first Awakening event, we invite you to take a few moments to set your intention. Write it down. Speak it out loud. Hold it close to your heart. ✨
Sister, your intention is the key that opens the door to all the healing, growth, and joy that awaits you.
Welcome to the Sisterhood Journal. Welcome home.
